During considerable rainfall, there are two wall cracks where water comes into the basement. Also a lengthy crack along the concrete floor that allows water to seep up into the basement. These leaks only happen during large amount of rain in a short amount of time. The floor is also not slanted towards to sump bump so it's useless where it is.

Was very pleased with the crew that came out. They informed us at every turn and the clean up was amazing. They were very good with informing the plumber as to what and when he could come back to finish his job and answered all of his questions. The company that you had to insulate the crawl space was very good as well he answered all of our questions as well. Again the crew that was here was very good and worked very hard to complete the job a quickly and as efficiently as possible it was just to bad that we were booked for the coldest day of the year so far. Thank you again job well done

Work was completed on April 5/13 The backhoe and trailer are still in front of my house. April 8/13 at 6:00pm. Sewer pipe was not buried completely in crawl space. Large clay/dirt pile on either side of trench. Job took too long. More workers necessary.

Basement/Crawlspace Update in Denfield, ON

The home was built with a full basement and unfinished crawl space attached. The space included a wide opening to allow access from the basement to crawl space. It had very high humidity levels and signs of water seepage through the concrete block walls. The home owners were concerned the air quality in the living levels was not healthy due to mould in various areas.

Advanced Basement Systems was called for an inspection of the entire space to improve the home. The inspection results indicated a complete update was needed to fix all the problems.

The crawl space required full encapsulation up to the opening between the 2 areas. All outside walls were insulated with 3” of closed cell spray foam up into the headers. The basement was repaired with full drainage around the outside walls, 4’ of thermal dry wall material and finally spray foam into the headers for insulation. The last step was to install of a new humidifier and complete sump pump system to dry the area out. The full project will keep the lower level dry and healthy for the home.
