Problem: These home owners were experiencing water penetrating into their unfinished basement. Their sump pump system was older, unreliable and contributing to an unhealthy level of humidity in the home.
Solution: Our team waterproofed the problematic walls, installed the ThermalDry® Wall system (which protects the basement from moisture and water as it passes through foundation walls – it serves as both a vapor barrier and as a way to redirect leaking water into the new drainage system). We completed the basement with the reliable and industry leading TripleSafe™ sump pump system.
This before and after is a great example of how all of our products work together for a dry basement. With regular maintenance, these home owners will never have basement water problems again!

Problem: Although these home owners only used this part of their basement as cold storage, they were frustrated by the continual leaky walls and the resulting musty smell and damp feel. During the hot and humid summer months, their entire home smelled bad and felt damp.
Solution: Our team:
Now, not only is their basement dry, their home is healthier as well!

Problem: There was plenty of evidence in this basement of water penetration. Aside from the appearance of mould and stains, the entire home smelled damp and musty. The high humidity caused some wood furniture to grow mould – a sure sign that it’s well past the time to fix the wet basement problem!
Solution: Our team waterproofed the leaky walls and improved the overall drainage in the basement. No more water entering. No more musty, damp smells and no more toxic mould!
Problem: These homeowners contacted Advanced Basement Systems to improve their crawl space environment. The space had excess debris, was damp and unlevel. The homeowners were experiencing a musty smell throughout their home due to the crawl space’s humid environment, and their floors were cold during the winter months.
Solution: Our team:
- Cleaned out the debris
- Leveled the crawl space
- Completely encapsulated the crawl space, sealing it from the outside environment
- Installed Spray Foam Insulation on the exterior walls to help with the home’s heating and cooling efficiency.
All our products work together to create a clean, healthy and dry crawl space. It’s hard to believe it’s the same space – what a transformation!

Problem: Cold floors, high utility bills and a musty smell throughout the home prompted this homeowner to contact us for help.
Solution: Our team of crawl space specialists removed the old, wet and ineffective fiberglass and rigid insulation, and sealed off the crawl space against the heat/cold cycle which effects the crawl space air (and makes the home smell musty due to mould and mildew growth). Our installers finished off the job with Spray Foam Insulation.
Spray foam insulation is one of the newest and most-advanced types of insulation available. More and more home and business owners are choosing to have spray foam insulation installed because of its unique properties.
Unlike fiberglass and other “fluffy” insulation materials, Spray Polyurethane Foam can’t be damaged by moisture. Once installed, spray foam won’t ever fall out of place or lose its R-value because of compression like fiberglass can.
This homeowner will now enjoy improved comfort and lower utility bills!
