Problem: This home’s crawl space was damp and musty. Through what is known as The Stack Effect, this undesirable air made its way into the home, resulting in musty, damp and mouldy smells. Some of the fibreglass insulation on the exterior walls was wet and had lost its insulating properties.

Solution: We improved the drainage in the space and encapsulated the dirt floor with our heavy duty CleanSpace crawl space vapour barrier. Our team also added mould and mildew proof SprayFoam Insulation on the exterior walls and also as a sealant on the vapour barrier. 

Problem: These Windsor homeowners were plagued with problems related to their leaky basement: damage to stored items, damp and cold basement, and musty smells throughout their entire home.

Solution: After a thorough inspection, we created a plan to waterproof the leaky walls. To help improve the comfort of the basement and the entire home, we installed ThermalDry®️ Basement Radiant Wall Barrier, which reflects back heat, improving heating and cooling efficiency. We also installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System with a battery backup, which will keep the basement dry even during the heaviest of rains and in the event of a power failure.

Problem:  Not all sump pumps are created equal – and they are a critical element to having and keeping a dry basement and a healthy home. This home had an unusual and ineffectual system which needed replacement.  

Solution:  Our team installed the powerful and efficient Zoeller 1/3 hp sump pump with a TripleSafe liner kit. Now with regular yearly maintenance, this homeowner is assured that their sump pump can keep up even during the heaviest of rains.

Problem: This tight and musty area under the home was starting to cause mould growth on the wood supports. Wood is everywhere inside a home and if it begins to rot due to high humidity and moisture, it can be a very costly repiar. We needed to get to work here right away!

Solution: We cleaned out all the debris of this small space. Then we installed our Clean Space Encapsulation System (the white liner). Once that was installed, our crew came in and spray foam insulated the headers (above the foundation wall where a lot of air leaks get in). The space is now safe and healthy.
