Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Basement Waterproofing + Floor Replacement

Challenge

This home had an unusable space in the basement due to mould, water pentration and a poor concrete floor. These issues affected the whole home- noticeably the odour! Our customer was beside herself not knowing what to do with the problem and why it was happening. 

Solution

Remove existing concrete floor, dig out old dirt and replace with clean ¾” stone,  install a proper perimeter drainage system around along with a vapour barrier on the walls. From there, we poured a new concrete floor throughout the basement. We installed our SaniDry Sedona Basement Air System to keep humidity low and remove musty odours. The results were outstanding!
