Poly Encapsulation
This is why we say don't use a poly barrier as your encapsulation system.

Debris
For any proper encapsulation work, debris (especially organic) has to come out of the crawl space first!

Old Fiberglass
See in the headers, that old pink fiberglass? It hold so much moisture and smell- it has to go! This crawl needs a lot of prep before the ABS team does their magic.

Half Way
The drainage, sump pump and CleanSpace have been installed. A little clean up and then it's time for spray foam insulation on the walls.

Spray Foam
It's common for most crawl spaces to have 3" thickness of spray foam on the foundation walls and headers. 2" and 3.5" are also options. Once it's painted with DC315, it has a bright white finish.

Airtight
This dirt crawl space is airtight now. Beautiful work.

Dehumidifier
Our Sani Dry Sedona Air System is a great option to condition the air. It helps remove odours and of course dehumidify the space! It's powerful, quiet and energy efficient. The unit has a drain hose which allows it to automatically drain into the airtight sump pump.
