Problem:  This older sump pump simply couldn’t keep up during times of heavy rainfall. The pit also required updating as it was open and a tripping hazard.

Solution: We waterproofed the problematic walls in the basement, so it was the perfect time for an upgraded sump pump. With regular maintenance, our products work together to give this home owner a dry basement – permanently.

Problem: This multi-level home had one area which was a dirt floor crawl space. As with any lower level, this means water can penetrate up from the ground and cause water damage and excessive moisture.

Solution:  Our team installed a Super Sump: a sump pump designed for crawl spaces to remove the water in the ground. Our team also installed a CleanSpace vapour barrier, encapsulating the area; to keep the moisture and humidity levels down in the crawl space.

• Airtight Sump Lid: An airtight lid keeps odors and humidity out, while protecting your sump from debris from the basement floor. Rubber grommets around all pipes and wires help maintain the airtight lid and also help to keep all PVC pipes steady and quiet.
• CleanPump Stands: These sump pump stands are installed to raise the pumps off of the bottom of the liner. Any silt or sediment that settles on the bottom of your sump pit will be kept away from your pump. These stands also allow for height adjustment of the pump if necessary.

Problem:  An open sump pit, an older and singular sump pump equated to problems for this homeowner in Tecumseh.

Solution: A dependable sump pump is one of the most important components of a dry basement.Our Advanced Basement Systems team installed the superior TripleSafe Sump Pump Kit. The TripleSafe provides three levels of protection; for normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

In case of a power outage, our UltraSump® battery backup sump pump, set at the highest level, will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery.

All housed in a sealed pump liner – to keep humidity down in the basement.

Before:
This old sump pit was crowded with two submersible pumps, one of which was installed with a flexible discharge hose. Flex-hose isn’t recommended for sump pumps, as rigid PVC or ABS piping provides far better reliability and durability.

After:
We installed a brand-new liner, replaced both submersible pumps with a powerful Zoeller M63, and added our UltraSump Battery Back-Up system for extra protection. To finish the upgrade, we sealed the pit with a two-piece, airtight lid, keeping moisture, odors, and debris out while ensuring long-lasting performance.
