Advanced Basement Systems Before & After Photos

This dirt crawl space in Goderich, ON was in need of some help! Our team was able to encapsulate, insulate, dehumidify and clean up this space. It's now dry and clean, helping this entire home to be more healthy in the air its owners breathe.

We also installed DC315 thermal barrier over the spray foam, which gives the foam that bright white look. 

Before

The homeowners called Advanced Basement Systems when they noticed several spots of moisture along the bottom of the finished basement walls. When the drywall was removed, several wall cracks and seepage along the floor revealed the issues causing the moisture.

After

Advanced Basement Systems installed the Water Guard system to alleviate the seepage along the floor-wall joint and a Flexispan Crack Repair to the cracks near the windows. The entire system will stop the water and allow the basement to dry and become a comfortable living space again!

Problem: These Dutton homeowner had a major leak during the wet Spring months that resulted in their entire basement flooding.

Solution: We installed a perimeter drain in the floor along the problem basement walls. We also installed the ThermalDry® Wall system as well as our TripleSafe Sump pump system to ensure these homeowners a peace of mind come the following Spring.

Problem: This crawl space needed new support columns, an encapsulation system and a new access. The floors were saggy and the crawl space itself was in awful condition.

Solution: Install new supports to hold up the floors in the home. Put a sump pump in to relieve hydrostatic pressure beneath the ground and install a Turtl (crawl space access- see Photo Gallery). We cleaned out all organic material and the old insulation and encapsulated with our 20mm Clean Space.

Before:

The home was built using concrete block foundation walls with a concrete floor. Overtime the walls developed seepage and water accumulated along the floor. The water created a condition perfect for mould growth and wood rot.

After:

Advanced Basement Systems installed their drainage system call Waterguard and a Vapour Barrier membrane to collect the seepage and divert it into Waterguard. The complete system should include drainage, wall (vapour) barrier, sump pump and dehumidifier to manage the situation. Advanced Basement Systems installs inspection ports into the drainage which allows regular servicing.
