Problem: This drywall had some water damage. Drywall is made of organic material, which means it can rot and grow mould when exposed to moisture and water- which can be likely within a basement environment! The studs that hold the drywall up are made of wood, which can also rot. When this happens, a musty odour is noticed.
Solution: Our Everlast Wall Restoration System is completely inorganic! We also use metal studs. The chair rail and baseboard are made of PVC. The wall panels themselves are made of a concrete board with a textured vinyl finish that never needs to be painted!

Our product Mold-X2 is a special two-part system of botanical and stain remover. This means we are killing the mould and then also removing it from the lumber! The result are essentially immediate. The product can also be used on concrete.
Great job by our installer Logan here! This attic is well on its way to being dry, safe and comfortable- helping this home save money on energy bills.
This unfinished and uninsulated basement in London needed some spray foam! We also covered the spray foam with DC315 (thermal barrier paint)- but why? The thermal barrier is required for occupied spaces or service spaces (attics and crawlspaces) that house any appliances i.e. furnace, HRV, HWT. The exemption exists only in service spaces that are strictly only running ductwork, piping or wiring. If the area is served by stairs or has access and is used for storage, these areas are considered livable and therefore require the exposed spray foam to be covered with a product like DC315, or with drywall.
This is why spaces with drywall over the spray foam insulation do not require DC315 paint.
Challenge: These London homeowners thought they could seal the issue on their own until they recently noticed they were not properly filled and have been letting moisture in behind the drywall.
Solution: We installed our interior waterproofing system with our in-floor drain, moving any seeping water in the sump pump. We provided these homeowners with a peace of mind by installing our TripleSafe sump pump systems, with three levels of protection, these homeowners are ready for the heaviest rainfall. Finally, our team installed our full height, ThermalDry wall barrier to help reflect heat back into their dry space.
Problem: This century-old home had the challenge of mixed foundation types as well as varying levels. The basement leaked even during moderate rainfall which caused excess humidity and all the problems associated with an excessively humid environment.
Solution: With our interior waterproofing process, we were able to successfully and permanently fix this leaky basement. We waterproofed the leaking walls, improved the drainage in the space and also installed a sump pump more than capable of helping to keep the basement dry.
