Undersized Sump
This sump is far too small. The water will fill this sump (liner) too quickly. The lid is also one-piece, which as you can see, doe not allow for easy access to the pump.
Seepage
The towel is helping to collect some water that's coming in from foot/wall joint seepage. This is something we see all the time with basement water seepage.
Waterproofing and Sump
New concrete has been poured and the WaterGuard is bringing water to the new sump pump. The silver material on the wall is our ThermalDry vapour barrier, which assists in directing water down to the WaterGuard.
