Our service person was Mike Modde. He explained everything to me step by step. Mike also answered any questions I had. My husband I believe met with Rick Ablenas who came to the house while I was away, so I wasn’t around to hear about the way the repair would be done. Every question I asked Mike was very happy to answer; I hope I wasn’t a pest. Mike was very knowledgeable and told me that he had been doing this for several years. I could see that he enjoyed doing this kind of work with the detail and care he took while fixing the wall. Mike was concerned about the loud noise the jack hammer would make so that it wouldn’t bother me and that he would try not to take too long. Mike was concerned about my cat that the noise wouldn’t spook him. Mike had to take the bottom step off and he made sure that it wouldn’t be too hard for my husband to put back on, he also secured the second bottom step so when we walked on it that it wouldn’t collapse and we wouldn’t get hurt. After Mike was done he explained about the drying time and when the bottom step should be put back on. When we need more repairs done we definitely will be calling Advanced Basement Systems again. Hi, I just want to send a brief note to thank you for the great job your guys did Friday. Shawn and Chad were awesome, very professional, friendly and helpful. Shawn obviously loves doing what he does and that's awesome to see. He really instilled confidence this is going to address our water issues totally and completely so that was great. The project is entirely new to me but the work appears very professional. I particularly like the way your crew was able to steer 2 downspouts into the underground drain. This is really going to make life easier around the garage and the driveway. Adele Would you please forward this Email to your President as it pertains to the outstanding manner in which everyone at Basement Systems performed from the moment I picked up the telephone and talked to You.  To the President of Basement Systems Southern Ontario Division. Dear Sir, As a result of seeing Basement Systems  advertising on Television I called your office to set up an appointment to have a representative come to my house in London and provide an evaluation of my problem. The first person I talked to was Adele who first listened to my dilemma and then with a great deal of patience took me through the various steps that Basement Systems could provide summing up by offering to send Dan Clancy to my house who would provide an evaluation and a price to resolve the problem. Adele was terrific and what a pleasure it was to talk to a real live person when I first called rather than machine. Next Dan arrived promptly  and together we reviewed  my basement problem after much discussion it was decided that we would only WaterGuard one wall and run a channel through my workshop to the nearest sump pump.I would add that Dan very diplomatic suggested that although this option may well work for complete peace of mind that I might be wiser to do all the outside walls of this particular basement area.The contract was duly signed for the one wall and Dan was on his way. Having slept on Dan`s suggestion I decided he was so totally correct so I called Adele explained the situation she again was wonderful nothing was too much trouble and she organized Dan to come back which he did we rewrote the contract  and he explained exactly what each step would be. Again a credit to your organization.  On October 19th just after 9.00am as promised Justin and Kevin arrived.After introductions and I might add Justin new my first name and that of my wife`s which impressed me right off the bat.Justin and Kevin quickly reviewed the situation put down drop mats put on the airduct dust extractor and in no time at all were hard at it. Frankly I thought it would take them atleast two days to do the job.I was not even close. By 4:30pm the job was complete. Everything cleaned up.They were amazing young men. Polite Competent and knew exactly whattheir task was.In conclusion I was extremely impressed with every step of the operation and would wish to express my sincere thanks to Adele, Dan, Justin and Kevin for truly a job well done and my warmest congratulations to you Mr President for running such a fine Corporation it was a pleasure doing business with Basement Systems and I would not hesitate to recommend your Firm to others.Yours sincerelyMichael Mears
