Before:

An unfinished dirt floor crawl space with no insulation on the walls can result in cold floors in the winter and higher humidity in the summer. This condition could impact the structure of the home and more energy use to condition the air.

After:

Advanced Basement Systems installed their Clean Space encapsulation system to seal in the area away from the dirt. When spray foam insulation is added up the walls and into the header, the result will give the home owners warmer floors, lower energy bills and provide a much healthier home.

Solution: Install new support columns to hold up the reinforced beam, along with the Clean Space vapour barrier to seal off the home from the earth and finally a high-performance dehumidifier to allow the space to be conditioned and healthy.
