The complete system should include drainage, wall (vapour) barrier, sump pump and dehumidifier to manage the situation. The system includes a urethane sealant in the crack, a drywell under the crack to drain the water and a polyurethane sealant on the wall to prevent water from leaking through. The entire system is flexible and will move with the wall as it moves over time during freeze / thaw cycles.
